once you've installed the ghost cast server, you'll be able to connect the hp800 to the network and have it image the entire system. it's very simple to use. just connect the client to your network, turn on the computer, and run the ghost cast server software. the system is instantly imaged.
un-zip the file, double-click the file and follow the instructions. then you will see the new icon on the desktop. drag the icon to the desktop of the client you want to image. once the client is connected to the network, just run the ghost cast server and it will automatically create an image of the entire system on the client. you can then connect to the client over the network, load the ghost image, and you will be prompted to load the software on the device.
one of the things i like about ghostcast is the amount of support i receive. this is a free product, but they do offer a free support license. i did however ask for a larger license to include the windows os. it is a great product and i highly recommend it.
when the client has finished installing, it will ask if you want to open the ghost image now. this is where you would connect the client to your network and then connect to the client. you will be prompted to connect the client to your windows environment and load the windows image. when the client has finished installing, you will be prompted to connect to the client over the network. the server can be configured to allow you to connect from other computers. this will allow you to image a windows xp or windows 7 client from any workstation connected to the network.
