The College of Business sends specially trained students to work with local organizations in developing nations to encourage their sustainability. Over spring break this mission team will work with Ciudad de Angeles in Cozumel, Mexico. Ciudad de Ángeles is a church-supported children's home that provides a safe, permanent home for young children who have been orphaned, abandoned or abused.

The Peugeot Center for Engineering Service in Developing Communities, in the Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering, sends various teams across the globe each year to work on infrastructure projects. Two spring break teams of students and professional engineers will work with host partners in Honduras and Guatemala.

A tennis tie-breaker is played when the game score in a set is 6-6. At this point, players will engage in a 7-point tie-break to decide the set. This means the first player to reach 7 points wins the tie-breaker.

If the score in the tie-breaker reaches 6-6, then a player must win by 2 points to capture the tie-break. For example, final tie-breaker scores in this scenario might be 8-6, 9-7, 10-8, etc.

At the beginning of the set, any player from the serving team can elect to serve. The same holds true for the next game, when the other team serves. Either of those two players can elect to start serving first.

Tie-breaks in singles are always to 7 points in tournament or league play. However, in doubles, when the set score is 1-1, a 10-point tiebreaker is often played. This is because doubles matches are generally viewed as less important than singles matches and it saves time.

When playing singles, I like to immediately get ahead in the tie-break. This takes some pressure off and gives me a cushion. I know if I can get ahead by 1 or 2 points quickly, my chances of winning the tie-break increase.

If you lose the tie-break and the match, consider what you can do differently for the next tie-breaker you reach. If another set is to be played, clear your mind of whatever happened in the tie-break and focus solely on the next set. Take it point-by-point.

Alternative Service Break (ASB) is a unique volunteer experience during which students forgo their traditional spring break activities and engage in direct service in a community outside of their own. As part of the first ACE trip, Duke student-athletes Elizabeth Horne and Oliver Spring traveled to South Africa with eight other athletes from both universities. Outside Cape Town, the group served an elementary school and orphanage housing children with mental and physical disabilities. Among their projects: Build a platform for a water tank and hold a camp to teach the children track and field events. Tennis comprises specific match situations when winning the next point is crucial. These big points can decide about a win or loss and, thus, reasonably arouse mental stress. Break points (BPs) are considered as big points and the outcome is influenced by, among a variety of other factors, the serve, which is well accepted being one of the dominant strokes in Men's tennis. In this study, we examined the serve behaviour for male players in the Wimbledon tournament 2016 to investigate the possible impacts of presumed mental stress within the situation of BPs, and further, if winning players perform better than losing players. A total of 28.843 points were analysed and divided into BP (n = 2.035) and non-break points - referred to as regular points (RP; n = 26.808).
